Tons of ways
Neokraft is
helping
Maine's Environment
Neokraft Signs is a significant consumer of raw materials, a considerable amount of which goes unused toward the finished sign products we make.
Additionally, with many of the new signs and sign-systems Neokraft produces, an equal number of old existing signs are replaced. The removal of unwanted, old or damaged existing signs throughout the State of Maine is an ongoing process.
"So where do all the old Signs go?"
Remove... Replace...
RECYCLE!
Neokraft Signs firmly believes that regardless of anything else, recycling our resources and reducing landfill impact is one of the most powerful ways a company can help clean up and preserve Maine's environment.
How much of an impact can just one local company really make? The answer will surprise you.

While extremely energy-efficient, fluorescent lamps contain small amounts of mercury which can pose a hazard in the environment, threatening plants, animals, fish and humans. Neokraft serviced and recycled more than 9,231 linear feet (1.75 miles) of fluorescent lamps in 2007!
Fluorescent Lamps:
Energy Efficient & Recyclable
Neokraft recycled more than 9250 ft. (1.75 miles) of intact fluorescent tubes in 2007. The reclaiming and recycling of fluorescent tubing and gases is environmentally important.
